Amazon launches a second-generation Echo Buds with many improvements over the first-generation and a lower price tag.  It’s 21% smaller than the previous version, lighter, and comfortable, you can enjoy up to 5 hours of music playback on a single charge (quick charge up to 2 hours of use in 15 minutes), but with the active noise cancellation and Alexa wake word off.  You will get hands-free access to Alexa, no tapping required, just ask Alexa to skip songs, resume reading, play podcasts, or turn up the volume.  It’s going to cost you $99.99 to own one, with two colors (black or white) to choose from, and will be released on May 13, 2021.

I’m not a fan of earbuds although I thought about getting these because of the Alexa feature, I know people who purchased the first generation and returned them because they were too big and uncomfortable in the ear.  I see that Amazon realize that too because they made them 21% smaller and shorter nozzle for improved comfort.  Still going to pass on this one, waiting for the Alexa-enabled headphones.
